Is the United Center safe?
I'm going to a blackhawks game tomorrow, and I've heard that after the game the arena is very unsafe, I'm kind of worried because I never go to chicago. Should I be afriad? ***What kind of unsafe things should I expect***? I'm 15 & i'll be with two of my uncles, and also the game should end around 9-10 pm, is it worse around then?

the little boy is only 13, he has two types of leukaemia, his parents are jehovah witness and refuse blood. he has also stated no blood so the courts are respecting his wants. doctors are refusing to help because this pill is a small dose of chemo meant to force the his own white blood cells to mature, but the doctors wont give it because of his age and that his immune is to low to handle without a blood transfusion first to boost his white blood cells. the family will not change their minds on the blood transfusion so plz dnt even comment on that or tell me that this is stupid to refuse it, its not my beliefs but i still care if the little boy lives or dies....plz if anyone knows of a doctor that has help Jehovah's witnesses before in working with minors without blood transfusions.....they had a doctor in portland oregon, but he decided he didn't want to mess with it, they might have someone in chicago, but it seems nobody really cares enough to help! if anyone knows of more options his time is getting shorter everyday!!!! plz help this family!!!! plz don't write anything rude, i don't have time to read it, and im not the person to vent at as i don't agree with this either!!!

Is the United Center's MadHouse bar standing area restricted to 21+?
I'm looking to get tickets to my first blackhawks game but they are pretty expensive for decent seats. However I did notice standing room seems to be a pretty good bargain depending on where exactly they let you stand. Does anybody know if they restrict the standing area by the madhouse bar to 21 and overs? Also, where are some other good standing room places to stake out if that doesn't work out?

well, its a public relations type job, in bear country. hes dealing with people who spend 10s of thousands of dollars over a car so i think the employer to be really associated with someone who might come out as arrogant. you kind of have to professional, but i dont think someone should be fired for it. he could have done 5 billion things worse that could have gotten him fired than simply wearing a tie for a sports team that his grandma liked. he could have worn it when he got out of work or just put it away for a while though.

They went from Defending Champions to Possibly not even making the playoffs. I never seen a Hockey Franchise fall from grace so far so fast in my life. I thought this team might be a 6th, 5th maybe a 4th seed, but I dont see this team making the playoffs in 2011. Even if the Blackhawks get their injured players back I think it will be too little too late for them to make a run at the 8th spot considering how much the Western Conference has improved.

I'm trying to research & find out what rights I & the father of my child have.....if we were to split up. I'm in Chicago. We've been together 12 years & our child is 8.....but we never married. My fiance wears size 16 and it's really hard to find shoes for him. the little boy is only 13, he has two types of leukaemia, his parents are jehovah witness and refuse blood. he has also stated no blood so the courts are respecting his wants. doctors are refusing to help because this pill is a small dose of chemo meant to force the his own white blood cells to mature, but the doctors wont give it because of his age and that his immune is to low to handle without a blood transfusion first to boost his white blood cells. the family will not change their minds on the blood transfusion so plz dnt even comment on that or tell me that this is stupid to refuse it, its not my beliefs but i still care if the little boy lives or dies....plz if anyone knows of a doctor that has help Jehovah's witnesses before in working with minors without blood transfusions.....they had a doctor in portland oregon, but he decided he didn't want to mess with it, they might have someone in chicago, but it seems nobody really cares enough to help! if anyone knows of more options his time is getting shorter everyday!!!! plz help this family!!!! plz don't write anything rude, i don't have time to read it, and im not the person to vent at as i don't agree with this either!!!

Pms does that. The fluctuations with hormones causes drastic mood changes, acne, bloating, and lots of other oh so delightful symptoms. Isn't it great ebign a girl? However, girls can suffer PMSD which is an extremem version of pms. Sounds like yours is pretty normal, but girls can get it so bad that they actually need counseling and what not. I reccommend trying to do some relaxing things like yoga, or read or write. Do something to distract you from being depressed. It's hard to control onesself on their period, I would know, but lots can help you manage it. Hope you feel better and hope I was able to help a little!

The Hawks need a new accountant. How could they lose Byfulgen, Versteeg, Ladd, et al just to keep under the salary cap? I would agree with 1 and 2. But it's not a surprise, the way the blackhawks are playing with the whole sale they had at the end of the season last year. Buffalo isn't a surprise because they only have goal-tending and a couple of decent players, St. Louis is in the same boat as Buffalo, without a top notch goalie, Halak has been playing great hockey, but he's not R. Miller. I would add Ottawa in at 3, Calgary at 4 and L.A. at 5.

Thoughts on Jay Cutler?
Jay Cutler sat out of the second half of today's NFC Championship Game because of an apparent knee injury. On the sidelines he appeared uninterested and didn't seem to be talking to and supporting Caleb Hanie when he was in. People started to question his toughness and his teammate Brian Urlacher defended him by saying "He's one of the toughest guys on our football team." I've read some stuff on websites about this and the comments people have been writing calling Cutler a pussy and weak. Cutler probably took more sacks than probably any other QB this year and he didn't once complain about it while the people typing those comments probably haven't played a game of football or have had an injury in sports once in their lives. However I do question Cutler in two areas. First, I question his leadership. Like I said earlier, he appeared uninterested and unsupportive of his teammates in the biggest game in his career. I would also like to question his toughness. Even though he took a beating all season long and didn't complain, with a knee injury that doesn't seem to be that serious you should still go out and play in the NFC Championship Game. I think he just quit after his terrible play in the first half and the lead that the Packers had. I live in Illinois and am a HUGE Chicago sports fan. Bears, Bulls, Blackhawks and Cubs (even though the Cubs have mediocre seasons nowadays) are my teams. It is very painful to watch the Bears lose after making a little comeback in the 4th quarter only to have their fait sealed with an interception. It also hurts to bash our quarterback, but I just think he quit on his team. What are your thoughts?

2004 Honda Accord V6 problem??? HELP?
I have a problem with my 2004 Accord EX V6 (no navigation system) with 85K miles. It sits out in the Chicago cold all day and night. Twice in the past couple of days, there is absolutely no power at all in the car when I go to unlock it using the remote buttons on my key - no interior/exterior lights, no power door locks, no nothing. And the car won't start either. I wait a few minutes, then try again and everything is fine. Car starts right up, and I have to reset the clock and enter the code for the radio. I just replaced the battery last year, so I don't think that is the culprit. What else can be causing this? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Is this enough equipment?
A lightweight turnout is a nice addition for trailering to shows, but it isn't necessary. Seems like you have a good list. Two half pads are nice, because you always have a back up if one gets damaged or dirty, etc. As far as jackets, it depends on what you will be showing. Different disciplines need different types of jackets. Look into what you will be showing and what the dress codes are for it. If you end up only needing one type of jacket, one should be fine. You only wear them for a few minutes to show, so they don't wear out quickly.

Well he was fired for INSUBORDINATION if you want to be honest. He was told to remove the tie TWICE. I mean the first time I can deal with, but the second time was flat out wrong. I don't think mental hospitals are looking for volunteers to help with the most difficult cases but as funding for mental health services is cut again and again by our enlightened legislators, maybe soon. Community mental health centers often have jobs for students. Most communities have crisis hot lines, suicide hot lines, etc. These are usually staffed by volunteers. I don't know how safe it would be, but you could probably find people in need of help at homeless shelters, Salvation Army, food pantries, soup kitchens, and thrift stores. These days most of the worst cases can be found in jail as mental hospitals cannot begin to meet the need. You might find leads at the welfare office and at Catholic Charities. Thanks for caring; we really need your help and can benefit so much.

Hockey and United Center Seating?
The reason the tickets for this game are so expensive, is because it is considered a "premium" game. Usually when a good team comes to town (especially the Red Wings), the tickets are much more expensive than the say if the islanders were here. As far as the 300 level, if your going to the game to have a good time, a few beers, and be in a little more relaxed setting with a younger crowd the 300 level is good. You will have a good overview of the ice, but it's not the greatest. Personally I really enjoy the 200 level. Its more for if your going because you want to enjoy whats happening on the ice. The level has more of a corporate feel, they even have waiters that come throughout the game to bring you food and such. The view is perfect in my opinion, you still have a full view of the ice, and its at the level where you can read the names on the sweaters and have a full understanding of everything that is happening on the ice. There really isn't a bad view here no matter where you sit. It is much more pricy, but if you want to go and really enjoy the game, I'd pay a few more bucks and go with the 200 level. Hi Nathan, this is Mary with Dish Network Customer Service. You can run a "mirrored" TV to your fan cave. It will have the same picture as TV1 or TV2 depending on where you split the signal. You will need a Satellite rated splitter, where the coax cable comes goes into TV2 Home Distribution Port on the back of receiver, you will place a splitter. 1 coax cable will stay hooked up as it is now and then you will need to run the second coax to the fan cave. A mirrored TV will show the same picture as another TV in your home, if you change the channel at one location, it will change it at both. Depends on the sport, but in hockey it tends to be early to mid 20's. Some sports, such as baseball, tend to have players in their primes later on (around 30). But, for hockey the stats will show the earlier the better.

If the core players stay healthy, they will come around and dominate. Something isn't clicking yet, but in time, a spark can and will happen, therefore putting the Blackhawks back into playoff position. Defense really needs to step up their game. Many of the goals against the team have happened because of penalties, therefore one of the most important tasks for the team is to stay out of the box. The team very much has the capability to stay on pace for a full 60 minutes, no less. It's half season, which means there's sufficient time to ignite the spark that gave the Blackhawks a memorable 09-10 season. No, this isn't the 09-10 Blackhawks, but it doesn't mean the Blackhawks can't be playoff contenders at the very least.

I like them, but maybe im being a Homer because im a habs fan, but this year should be interesting for Montreal. Carey Price proved to everybody he will be and is the Best goaltender in the League, with youngsters like Pk Subban Stepping up, and hopefully Pacioretty, with a group of veteran defenseman and Forwards we might have the stuff to make it to the Stanley Cup Finals, who knows, i like your rankings By the Way. Also your standings are a bit wrong, normally the 3 top division leaders are #1 2 ad 3 in the standings.

I'm pretty sure this team is an EPIC fail this year. They won a Stanley Cup which cost them their future. They have a bunch of old, injury-prone players, they cant win on their home ice, and the rest of the Western Conference has gotten stronger. I wouldn't be a bit surpassed if the Blackhawks finished 10th in the West.

Where to find live streaming (or something like it) NHL games?
I am looking for someplace to watch live NHL games, specifically Chicago Blackhawks online. Free would be best, but a small fee or monthly fee (like hulu plus) would be ok too. Also, I'm willing to compromise on the live part. Most of the time I watch them on DVR anyway so there wouldnt be much difference. Any sites that come close to these things would help. Thanks!
Box Office Ticket Swap?
I have 4 Standing Room Only tickets for the Blackhawks game tonight. I tried calling Ticketmaster to see if I could swap those for 2 actual seats, but was told they don't swap tickets on the day of the game. I read on nfl.com that the Bears are saying Cutler has a sprained MCL. Now i'm not a doctor and don't know very much about sports medicine. But i've had sprains before and know how painful they are. and quit honestly I don't see how he could have been on the exercise bike for 10 minutes and then walk up and down the sidelines for the entire second half. He didn't even have a limp.

What is so special about Football?
I reside in Chicago, recently Chicago Bears lost to GB, but the whole week before the game people behaved like there is nothing more important than this forthcoming game. Some people were willing to pay thousands for tickets, so they can sit in sub-zero temperature, risking their own health to see the game from the distance, when you can see it for free at home with much better detail. Bears finally lost and most people got so depressed like they lost close family member. I’m driving to work and as far as I can tell everything looks normal; the street lights are working, most of cars started in the morning despite cold night, all machines at work seem to be working just fine, since there was very few maintenance tickets. My office temperature was normal 73 Deg. and so on. Can someone educate me what it is about this game? All players are overweight and look not much better then cave man. You can’t even see their faces, (This actually may be a good thing) and all they want is to take the out of shape ball from one place to another, hardly a sophisticated task when you compare it to other sport i.e. figure skating, professional dancing, volleyball or even tennis. Please give me a reason to be at least a little excited about this game.
