Can I bring a camera to a play?

I would recommend keeping it in your purse. However, if you do take it out, be discrete, and if you really do want to take a picture, keep the flash off. Remember that they usually say they don't want you using cameras during performances though. I have seen plays when they've said otherwise, but assume they don't
