Would the addition of another Center help the Blackhawks?

The Hawks need a new accountant. How could they lose Byfulgen, Versteeg, Ladd, et al just to keep under the salary cap? If Rocky Wirtz can afford the very expensive rings that everyone got for winning the Cup, then he could have retained some of those very vital players. Had we retained them the question of would another center help would be moot. Versteeg made the Hawks a threat even shorthanded. Buff in front of the net was remarkable. Ladd was vital. ETC, ETC.
